The „Gesamtverband Schleswig-Holsteinischer Häfen“ is a deliberate association of port operators and port economic companies as non-commercial registered society with legal capacity (e.V.). The society’s business is to argue for common interests in economy, politics and with the authorities. Furthermore exchange of experience with regards to port technical and port economical questions is stimulated and supported.

Universal Transport Nord GmbH

The company Universal Transport Nord GmbH is one of the world’s leading provider of heavy-duty and special transportation services. Due to our cooperation we are able to offer integrated logistics solutions to our potential customers. The collaboration is focused on the sector of heavy- and project-cargo, which includes e.g. the transport of wind power stations or special equipment.
Purpose of the cooperation is to take advantage of bundled competencies. This leads to the opportunity to intensify the connection between transports carried out on the road and on the waterway, as well as to optimize existing business areas.

Oberelbe trifft Unterelbe

The lower Elbe ports Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH, Glückstadt Port GmbH & Co. KG and the Sächsische Binnenhäfen Oberelbe GmbH have agreed to cooperate in barge transports on the Elbe. The Sächsische Binnenhäfen Oberelbe GmbH (SBO) is an association of six ports: Dresden, Riesa, Torgau, Roßlau, Decin and Lovosice.

In addition we are involved in the Association "Verein zur Förderung des Elbstromgebietes e.V."

ZDS represents the German port industry. As a federation of state-level associations and with 190 member companies, ZDS strives to further improve the competitiveness of German seaport operators. ZDS engages German, EU and international stakeholders in economic, commercial, social and wage policy matters, and provides advice and information to its members.
