Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH is 100% owner and operator of the infrastructure and superstructure of the following ports in Brunsbüttel:

In addition Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH operate the Port of Glückstadt, the Rendsburg Port and two further terminals in Hamburg at the Company Aurubis and at the coal power station Hamburg-Moorburg.
Since 1 March 2017, the SCHRAMM Ports & Logistics Sweden AB, an affi liate of the Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH, has been the majority shareholder (51%) of the Swedish port operator and logistics company Söderhamns Stu-veri & Hamn AB (SSHAB).
Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH operates three ports at Brunsbüttel.

The Oilport is located at the norther part of Kiel-Canal, within immediate distance to the Brunsbüttel locks (at km 3,55). Various liquid refinery products are being handled. Apart from jetty VIII, all other jetties are owned and operated by Shell Deutschland GmbH, subject to leasehold law.

The port of Ostermoor is located at the Southern part of Kiel-Canal, within immediate distance to the Brunsbüttel locks (at the southern part of Kiel-Canal at km 5.65). The port was erected in 1975 as supply and disposal facility for the nearby industry (Bayer AG Werk Brunsbüttel / TOTAL Bitumen Deutschland GmbH / Yara Brunsbüttel GmbH).
The handling facilities for ammonia, urea, crude oil and various liquid chemicals are factory-owned and located on port areas which are leased from Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH.

Aurubis AG is the leading integrated copper group and the world’s largest copper recycler. Aurubis produces some 1 million t of copper cathodes each year and from them a variety of copper products.
Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH is service provider for product logistics on the Aurubis AG area.
After an European tender process of Vattenfall Brunsbüttel Ports was selected to operate the supply facilities and the waste management facilities of the newly built coal power plant Hamburg Moorburg.

SSHAB operates the ports Orrskär, Stugsund and Langrör in the Söderhamn region on the east coast of central Sweden and provides logis-tical services at three ports in Vallvik, Sandarne and Åla which are owned by industrial companies. Through its new Swedish company, Brunsbüttel Ports will be able to serve the entire Scandinavian market and expand its activities in the Baltic Sea.
Especially via the Orrskär port, large numbers of timber and wood products, such as sawn timber, are expor-ted from Sweden. Through its multi-use cargo-handling equipment, the Orrskär port meets all requirements, especially for handling general and bulk cargo. An ex-pansion of the port by an additional 2 hectares of storage space and an additional berth is currently under review. The ports Langrör and Stugsund are used to handle cement, oil, chemical products and general cargo.
In addition to port services on land, the Swedish company also offers waterside services. SSHAB owns and operates two tugboats used for tug assistance during ship maneuvers and as icebreakers during winter months to keep the harbors accsesible.
